Coco 2

Many small benefits from Cocos visit. The sun came out when we walked with her. And every time in the wood we have nice talks with 2 or 3 people with dogs.

Coco

We are looking after this gentle lady this weekend or maybe its the other way around. She's a laplander/reindeer-dog. Very good at signlanguage. Sits like this, when I make a V-sign with my fingers.

I saw this painting in the newspaper today. Its by Martin Honert with the above title. I do not know anything about it. It talked to me. I was absolutely fascinated.

Harbour at rest

Saturdayshopping in Hornbæk we were in the harbour to get fish. The sea is all peacefull and quiet, no ships, no wind.

Home again

Another kind of warmth. Sitting next to the fireplace is the favorite spot at night, since we returned to the icecold North.

Where the pepper grows

Several spiceplantations in central Goa offer guided tours. The one we visited also had this amazing creature, that played with the guests splashing them with water from the lake, when they sat on his back.

Asvem beach

45 minutes drive north into the countryside theres only small villages with colourfull houses and huts and theese long, long stretches of open beaches. The food is just as good and the taxidriver more than happy to stay there for the day.

Candolim beach

Monica's shack at Candolim beach, that gave us our sunbeds, drinking water, juices and delicious lunches.

Goa

Just returned from a very different x-mas and new year in a wonderfully welcoming climate. The main attraction is not in the picture: Its the openness and friendliness of the people living there. A long journey though, so the photos will come later...

Birthday remembered

My old teachers birthday tomorrow and two drawings from my Poonasketchbook illustrating his impact. It was fun to be there...

Nobody home

Andrea put a drawing on her blog, (called Museum) - her way of digesting her efforts of getting an exhibition for her work. This was my way of digesting the absolute nothing, that came out of showing my great teacher my drawings.

Stones

Our beach has lots of stones and some very colourfull seaweed right now.

Pearls and diamonds

Yesterday there was a reception for Bodil Binners new shop, where Vibeke is going to sell extraordinary jewellery. Every litle deail is cared for in this special place just across from Tage Andersens flowershop. I especially like the giant pearls... just about 6 months salery for the necklace.

Books

The annual Book Fair in Forum is on this weekend. We were there friday and found a few gifts for Christmas

Election day

Yesterday we had an election for the Danish parliment. Kind of sad. Lots of cows got elected again

November light

We have had our first snow - actually hail - stay on the lawn and inside the light comes in so low that it changes the appearance of things.

Camilla Engman has such a nice dog with big ears, that often appears in her blog (which I like a lot) so I wanted to show of our special friend Musse and her big ears. Here she is taking a nap.

Family-visit

My sister in law and her husbond and two boys and two cats lives this cozy in a small village called Skelund.
